Usher Board

An usher is a temple servant whose job is to greet and escort worshippers to their seats, introduce visitors, distribute materials and facilitate the overall movement of worshipers while in the sanctuary. The usher is the embodiment of the gracious spirit of the body of Christ. The usher is the friend who shares in making the visitor feel welcome and the link between the world and the fellowship in the body of Christ. In short, the usher is the instrument who introduces the individual to every practical expression of the church's mission, and to the presence of the Almighty.
